In pochi minuti, la città scivola alle vostre spalle e il sentiero inizia a salire, passando per vecchi stavlos e campi di ulivi argentati, con il Mar Egeo che scintilla accanto a voi. Man mano che si guadagna quota, la vista si allarga sempre di più, rivelando Pigadia dall'alto e i villaggi meridionali sparsi lungo la costa come piccole pennellate bianche.La vostra meta è la tranquilla cappella di Agia Kyriaki, solitamente aperta per una visita. È un luogo perfetto per fermarsi all'ombra, ammirare il paesaggio e godersi un momento di tranquillità lontano dal trambusto.Da qui, la passeggiata prosegue attraverso una pineta dove l'aria diventa più fresca e profumata di resina. Tra gli alberi, potrete ammirare più volte la costa orientale,l'acqua azzurra, le colline frastagliate e la Pigadia che si sviluppa sotto di voi. In tarda mattinata tornerete in città verso le 11:30, con l'aria salata nei polmoni, le foto sul cellulare e quella soddisfacente luce post-camminata.
