Held under the Canary Islands’ year-round sunshine, Maspalomas Pride is one of Europe’s most vibrant LGBTQ+ festivals. Taking place each May in the lively resort area of Playa del Inglés, this event brings together thousands of visitors for a week of parades, parties and celebrations. With its inclusive atmosphere, beachside setting and warm climate, Maspalomas Pride has become a standout event on the international Pride calendar.
Join the colourful festivities through the streets, enjoy live music and drag performances, or dance late into the night at open-air stages and club-hosted events. Pool parties, themed nights and beach gatherings keep the energy going throughout the week, while quieter moments can be spent relaxing on the nearby dunes or exploring Gran Canaria’s coastline. The main Pride parade regularly attracts tens of thousands of spectators, making it one of the biggest celebrations in the Canary Islands.
