Il tour inizia a Shatti Al-Qurum, la lussuosa area residenziale che ospita numerose ambasciate, conosciuta anche come Muscat's Diplomatic District. Il forte ha origini preislamiche e risale al tempo dei Sassanidi, costruito contro le incursioni delle tribù arabe. Visiterai il forte e le sorgenti calde di Al Thowarah.
