Un po' di storia
With over 200 sculptures to look at, from angry babies to starcrossed lovers, Vigeland Park is the largest sculpture park in Norway created by Gustav Vigeland. Celebrating the circle life, from young to old and all the emotions we experience in between, you’ll be amazed as you wander around looking at the sculptures.
There are five main areas to explore including The Bridge with 59 statues of naked men, women and children in a variety of poses. Bring your cameras to take lots of photos with the statues, and don’t miss out on one of the most beloved statues of the park, the ‘Sinnataggen’ - the little angry boy. See the defying gravity of the Wheel of Life statue and look up at The Monolith, the tallest statue in the park at 14-meters with 121 figures climbing and intertwined together.
