Leaving from Chengdu, you'll have a relaxing tour of the world-famous cultural heritage site, the Leshan Giant Buddha. A boat tour allows you to see the Buddha's full figure-including its head, shoulders, hands, and feet-all at once. From the front of the boat, you'll get a spectacular view while your guide shares stories about the Buddha, helping you truly appreciate the magnificent saying, "The mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain."
After exploring the Leshan Giant Buddha, you'll head off to taste some authentic local cuisine. Leshan is famous for its wide variety of street food, such as Qiaojiao Beef, Sweet Skin Duck, Bobo Chicken, and Tofunao. You'll have lunch at a highly-rated local restaurant or a snack street, where you can try a little bit of everything.
After lunch, you'll visit Wuyou Mountain. This peaceful and beautiful mountain is located just across the river from the Leshan Giant Buddha. We'll hike along the scenic mountain paths, enjoying the lush greenery along the way. At the top, you'll discover the ancient and elegant Wuyou Temple. Here, you can explore the temple, soak in the peaceful Buddhist culture, and take in the magnificent view of the river and the Leshan Giant Buddha from the viewing platform. It's the perfect spot to get away from the crowds and find some inner peace.
