Discover the best-kept secret in the Bay of Naples with this fully guided boat trip to Procida. Head over by fast ferry to be taken by your local expert to sample tasty local pastries, take a scenic micro-taxi tour and stroll the seafront at La Corricella.
Although it's the smallest of the Phlegrean Islands, Procida packs a big punch when it comes to history and culture. Hop across the bay by fast ferry and you'll make a coffee stop at a local bakery to sample Lingua di Procida – a typical island treat of crisp, puff-pastry and a delicious lemon filling.
After your guide has given you the lowdown on what you'll see, jump in a micro-taxi and you'll take a scenic tour that goes where other cars can't. Gliding through the cobbled streets, you'll head up to the highest point on the island – the ancient fortress area of Terra Murata. Drop in at St Michael's Cathedral for a visit, brought to life by your guide, then spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the charming marina area of La Corricella with some free time.
