De details maken de trip compleet. Een extra stop. Dat verborgen hoekje. Alleen het beste.
There aren't many places where you can watch the sun slip behind a volcanic landscape and end the evening exploring distant galaxies. In Teide National Park, you can do both. "People often come for the sunset," says our local guide Javier, "but the night sky is what surprises them the most." Travelling in a small adults-only group, you'll see a different side of Tenerife, with expert-led stargazing beneath some of Europe's clearest skies.
As you make your way through the heart of the national park, you'll stop at carefully chosen viewpoints where Tenerife's volcanic origins are on full display. Watch the landscape change colour as daylight fades, then sit down for dinner at the renowned 7 Cañadas Restaurant, with views of Mount Teide setting the scene.
Later, you'll head to a private terrace chosen for its ideal stargazing conditions. Away from city lights, the night sky comes into focus, revealing a whole new world above. With a certified Starlight guide and professional telescopes, you'll spot constellations, planets, star clusters and distant galaxies while learning more about the universe. Whether you're an astronomy enthusiast or simply curious about what's up there, this evening is a chance to see why Tenerife is considered one of Europe's leading stargazing destinations.
