Weißenburg castle is a magical place surrounded by pure nature. It is located on a hill above the river Saale and you can enjoy the fantastic panoramic view of the valley. Your sleeperoo stands alone in the fairy garden under a large weeping willow, right next to the wild herb gardens.

The Weißenburg lies above the town Uhlstädt-Kirchhasel which is located 40 kilometers southeast of Weimar and 50 kilometers southeast of Erfurt. The historic castle complex was first documented in 1247 and already inspired Goethe. At the castle, you can taste delicious bison burgers and regional Thuringian specialties in the beer garden with an outdoor kitchen.
