Are you ready for a cruise in the amazing winter fjords of Northern Norway? Wildlife, aquaculture, local villages, the weather and the elements in the Arctic as well as the Arctic landscape, and of course the beautiful fjords. This is what is waiting for you. From late October to the end of January (approximately) some of the world’s biggest mammals visit the coast outside Tromsø to feed on herrings.
The most common whale species you may see are the humpback whale, killer whale (orca), harbor porpoise and sometimes even the fin whale. You are invited to come on board to take a close-up look at the feast. Once you reach the whale feeding site, you will stay for 1 – 1.5 hours. The boat will provide you with a good opportunity to take photos and nice sightseeing. There is a kiosk on board to purchase hot expedition meals (dry food to which you add hot water), snacks and cold drinks.
