The market sits on the railway track, and customers and shopkeepers make way for the Bangkok-Maeklong train to pass every day. With the ringing of a warning bell followed by an announcement in Thai over the loudspeaker, the vendors pull back their awnings within seconds.

The pick-up service is available from hotels in a few selected areas in Bangkok: Khao San Road and Siam Square. If you don't stay in one of these areas, the meeting point is the tour organizer's office on Chao Khamrop Road, opposite the ‘Tai Hong Kong Shrine’ and Phlapphla Chai 2 Police Station. Know in advance:

The exact meeting and departure times will be sent to you via email or WhatsApp the day before your tour. These times depend on the number of participants on your selected date, so please check your messages carefully the day before the tour
