What to expect

A fun-filled day packed with aquatic activities and animal attractions awaits at Mundomar wildlife park. The highlight will undoubtedly be your chance to learn about dolphins first-hand as you spend 30 minutes swimming in the water with them.

Your experience kicks off with a debriefing in the dolphinarium, where you'll learn about the dos and don'ts of dolphin interaction. Then, you'll get in the water with these highly intelligent and socially developed mammals, feeling their rubbery bodies as they play and frolic about you.

Choose the complete entrance package and after your encounter with Flipper, you'll be free to dry off and enjoy the rest of the park. There's a great bird aviary, and enclosures for monkeys and penguins among others. Don't miss the sea lion show, either – it's great fun.

What to remember

Sunblock should not be applied before the dolphin swim
You must be able to swim in a seven-metre deep pool
For everyone's safety, you'll need to stay calm and follow the trainers' instructions during the activity. If that might be tricky, you won't be able to take part. But if you're looking for a therapeutic experience, the Mundomar Foundation also offers free dolphin therapy programmes designed for different types of disabilities.
Wearing jewellery is not permitted
Children aged five to 12 must be able to swim and be accompanied by a paying adult (Dolphin Encounter Adult)
Please make sure you arrive at the park entrance at least one hour before the activity starts
