The tour starts with the scenic Bergen Railway to Voss. Once you arrive in Voss, you'll find the bus to Gudvangen, and in the summer months, the bus runs through Stalheimskleiva, the 1.5 km long road section that winds down Nærøydalen from Stalheim. In Gudvangen, you will board the electric ship "Future of the Fjords" to Flåm.
The Nærøyfjord is one of the narrowest fjords in the world and the cruise to Flåm takes about 2 hours. In 2005, the fjord was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list together with the Geirangerfjord. Nærøyfjorden is surrounded by high mountains and is a beautiful sight both in summer and winter.
Flåm is a charming village surrounded by precipitous mountainsides, rumbling waterfalls and narrow valleys. Here you can have lunch, visit the Flåm Railway Museum or just wander around in the busy harbor. The trip continues with the Flåm Railway which is one of the world's steepest railways.
The 20 km long train journey from Flåm to Myrdal gives you a panoramic view of some of the wildest and most magnificent of Norwegian mountain nature, including the famous Kjosfossen waterfall. At Myrdal Station, the Bergen Line will take you back to Bergen. The tour ends at Bergen Railway Station.
