Cycle through the vineyards of Rota da Bairrada, and taste local sparkling wines on this full-day bike tour from Coimbra!
After picking you up in Coimbra, you'll head to Curia and visit the Rota da Bairrada headquarters. Then, get ready for the bike tour on a 52-km route of intermediate difficulty. You'll ride secondary or dirt roads that surround wine estates where you'll meet the "terroir", the grapes, and the producers.
You'll make a first stop to visit one of the traditional wineries including a wine and sparkling wine tasting. Then, you'll ride to the restaurant to taste the typical dish of the region, Leitão Assado à Bairrada. After lunch, continue the trip to the other winery and again, visit and taste wines and sparkling wines.
At the end of the tour, you'll head to the car and drive back to the starting point in Coimbra.
