With more shops than anywhere else in Fuerteventura, there's no better place to go shopping than Puerto del Rosario. You can browse the streets around the town's iconic Rosario church or head to the Las Rotondas shopping centre, just a short walk away. You'll be picked up and brought to the island's capital for almost four hours of free time to hit the shops.
Puerto del Rosario has been spruced up over the past few years and Las Rotondas shopping centre is among the new additions to its retail scene. With all the top high street shops under one roof, it's a must if you're looking for clothing. And don't forget that Fuerteventura has a lower VAT rate for cosmetics and perfumes, electronic goods, jewellery and much more.
In the town itself, you can stroll down to the harbour and look out for all the sculptures representing island life and traditions – there are 50 in total. There are also lots of cafés and tapas bars to drop into if you want to take a break.
