Carved by thousands of years of strong Atlantic trade winds, the otherworldly landscape of the Fataga Valley is Gran Canaria's own miniature Grand Canyon. And to roam through it on a camel is one special experience.

Stop by a panoramic viewpoint over the rolling sand dunes of Maspalomas then head down into the valley for your bumpy-but-fun 30-min camel ride. You'll sway from side to side as you troop through this impressive ancient ravine and make your way to the traditional village of Fataga. Once your feet are firmly back on the ground, you've free time to explore this history-packed heritage site before returning to resort.
