What to expect

One of Costa Rica's most emblematic creatures, the sloth, can be spotted in the lush surroundings of Tenorio Volcano National Park. On this tour, you'll get to trek through the rainforest, and enjoy lunch in the wild, surrounded by acres of natural beauty.

The adventure kicks off by travelling deep into the hills of Mt Tenorio. Famous for its scenery, exotic plants and diverse wildlife, you'll spend the day on the lookout for wildlife and soaking up the mysteries of this secondary rainforest. Two-toed and three-toed sloths as well as tree frogs are among the many creatures we'll be searching for on a stroll through a private estate. Sloths spend most of their time up in trees, so look up.

With luck, you'll spot a few of these fascinating, friendly creatures as you venture through this forest full of exotic biodiversity. Afterwards, you'll stop for a delicious lunch in lush natural surroundings and perfect views of the river.
