What to expect

Explore Montenegro Canyon on a day trip from Herceg Novi. Experience the best panoramic views driving through the country and visit two canyons, the Moraca Monastery, the Tara Bridge as well as two national parks (Biogradska Gora and Durmitor).

Begin travelling by ferry to Tivat and Budva, stopping at Brajici to snap a photo or two and off to Cetinje where you'll have the opportunity for a quick bite during a 30-minutes break.

Arriving at the Moraca Monastery, you'll have 45-minutes to take in the chuch dedicated to Our Lady and see the monks rooms. Then, continue to Biogradska Gora National Park and the Biogradsko Lake where you will soak in the natural surroundings

Next, journey to Tara Canyon – the deepest canyon in Europe and the second deepest canyon in the world (after the Colorado canyon). Spend 1.5-hours of free time admiring the architecture of Tara Bridge or choose to have lunch.

Finally, reach the Durmitor National Park for a relaxing stroll along the Black Lake. During your return you won't miss the chance to grab a couple more images with a photo break at the viewpoint of Boka bay.
