Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels and learn what life underground was like.
Meet your guide at the port and depart to Cu Chi Tunnels. Explore a network of tunnels stretching over 250 kilometers, which are one of the most famous and unique aspects of the Vietnam War. The tunnel system was created in 1948 to assist the Viet Minh as they fought the French for independence and was enlarged and improved for the following 25 years.
Discover an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storages, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. The tunnels could house thousands of people who lived almost entirely underground for years. Learn how families led relatively normal lives there, including getting married and raising children. During the American War, the entire area of Cu Chi was designated as a free fire zone and was therefore heavily attacked and bombed.
You will be able to see two sections of tunnels opened up for visitors. Have the chance to enjoy this wonderful and informative experience.
