This off-road safari is dynamite. Take a day of sightseeing, add a military-style convoy of 4x4s and top it all off with a swim stop and a traditional lunch – a perfect mix if ever there was one.
Once you're strapped in, the adventure begins with a drive through the pine-cloaked countryside, towards sleepy villages and turquoise bays. Spot traditionally dressed locals riding on donkeys as you climb through the mountains and drive through some of the area's time-warp villages.
Stop by Ciftlik Bay for a dip in the sea then break for a traditional Turkish lunch in one of the villages. You'll also visit a family-run olive oil factory to discover the old and new ways of producing this local staple. Finally, there's a traditional cup of çay tea by the wishing tree in the charming village of Bayir, before hopping into the 4x4s again and rumbling back to base.
