The catamaran speeds across the Andaman Sea towards the iconic Sailing Rock on Koh Similan (Island No. 8). Here, you can unwind on the soft sand and soak in the panoramic views. Similan Islands National Park is officially opened to the public from 15th October until 15th May. You can't book this tour outside this period
For your own safety, it's recommended wearing a life jacket throughout the entire boat ride to the islands and while snorkelling
Speed catamarans carry passengers as close to the beach as they can, so you can hop off and on easily
While flip-flops are convenient, water shoes offer better protection against sharp objects like shells or rocks on the sand, and provide improved traction on wet surfaces
Shorts are ideal as they dry quickly and allow for greater freedom of movement, especially if the water level reaches above your knees when getting on or off the boat
