This is a three-hour-long excursion that includes a bus tour through the Moselle Valley and wine tasting at a winery. The journey from ship to winery provides lots of sightseeing. The whole region’s very picturesque, and the river winds its way through grape-heavy vineyards and rolling pea-green hills. At the wine estate, you’ll go on a guided tour and learn about the workings of a traditional Roman wine press. Then you’ll get to taste three different, locally produced tipples before heading back to the ship.
