Papallacta is a small town in the Andean highlands in Ecuador located at an altitude of 3,250 m. It is the gate to the Ecuadorian Rainforest. Just 1 hour and 20 minutes from Quito city.
It is in a unique natural environment, between Antisana and Cayambe Volcanos, you will relax in the medicinal volcanic water.
Your private day trip begins with hotel pickup at your hotel in Quito. Meet your guide and drive in a private vehicle towards the Termas de Papallacta Spa. On your way there, pass through the valleys of Cumbaya and Tumbaco and admire the scenery od the Andes Mountains. Reach Papallacta Hot Springs, just in the southeast side of the Cayambe-Coca Ecological Reserve and enjoy its wonderful thermal water pools. First you and your guide will enjoy a 30 minutes hike in a private cloud forest reserve where you can admire the beauty of nature rich in flora and fauna.
Then you will enjoy and relax in the thermal baths. The lunch on your own before return to Quito in the evening.
