Discover the real side of Crete and enjoy all the beauties of the island together with a local guide. If you want to feel the authentic Cretan hospitality, the culture, and the everyday life of traditional Crete, you are in the right place. The trip starts with a personalized pick-up approx. between 8am – 9am.
You will make a stop in the unique and impressive cave of Sfendoni, walking around 150 meters in the mountain. The cave’s unique and rare beauty mesmerizes everybody – it is indeed one of Crete’s most beautiful caves. You can explore a route of about 270 m, along which you can admire a variety of impressive formations.
The second stop will be at a traditional farm in the mountains, with an impressive view of the Psiloritis mountains. There, you will meet Priest Andreas who will speak and explain you his simple life. You will get some milk from goats and finally make your own cheese! You will collect some products from the garden and at the end you will eat and share a traditional Cretan meal with all the products you collected and made with also a special lamb dish. Around 4pm you will return to Rethymno.
