The Korouoma Canyon is home to a diverse range of animal species, such as deer, wild hare, foxes, and golden eagles. Occasionally, one can spot enthusiastic ice climbers ascending the frozen waterfalls despite the frigid weather. Along the Koronjää trail, one can also admire three of the largest and most stunning frozen waterfalls in Korouoma.
