Join this hiking tour and learn more about the hydrographic basin of the Sete Cidades volcanic complex. Along the trail, you'll find several lakes, with different characteristics until reaching the highest point of Sete Cidades, Pico das Éguas.
The experience will begin departing from Ponta Delgada until reaching Lagoa do Canário, where you'll start your hike! On your trail, you'll find the main wonders of the area such as Lagoa das Éguas, Pico das Éguas and, Lagoa Rasa. Accompanied by a professional guide, you'll learn more about the watercourses of Ponta Delgada as well as the endemic vegetation that exists in this place. Passing by Lagoa do Canário and Miradouro Grota do Inferno, you'll discover the lagoons that compose Caldeira das Sete Cidades as well as the legend of Lagoa das Sete Cidades. On this walk, you'll also have the opportunity to stop at the Vista do Rei viewpoint, a must-see in this municipality.
