Korea is a country split into two different countries, South Korea and North Korea. During this tour, you'll visit the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) in the safest way possible. This educational experience offers a unique glimpse into the history as well as the current state of the Korean Peninsula's division and the tensions surrounding it.
You'll discover the 3rd Invasion Tunnel and the Dora Observatory, where you can see North Korean Territory, Unification Village and more. The 3rd Invasion Tunnel is one of four known tunnels dug by North Korea to infiltrate the South. From Dora Observatory, you'll use binoculars to view the North Korean propaganda village, Kijong-dong, and the city of Kaesong.
The experience continues at the North Korea Experience Centre, where displays, videos and original items provide further context. A highlight is the opportunity to meet a North Korean defector and take part in a live question-and-answer session, offering personal insight into life beyond the border.
