On the first day, have a morning visit to Banteay Srei Temple, located twenty-five kilometers north of Angkor Wat and known as the pink temple of women, because of its pink sandstone. On the last day, enjoy a morning visit to Rolous Group. It was the site of the capital of Indravarman I from 877 to 889 AD. Lunch on your own account and start the afternoon visit to the Floating Village (Kompong Pluk), a scenic and enjoyable boat trip in a traditional wooden boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake to see the fisherman’s daily routine. Head to visit Old Market, the most visited, offering the deepest selection of souvenirs, and curious about any of the traditional markets. Continue to Artisan d’Angkor, where unschooled rural youth are educated in handicraft production.
