It's one pretty tiny village after another in this excursion through the rugged northwest of Tenerife. You'll go through a roll call of all the must-visits, from whitewashed Santiago del Teide to a tasting in Icod de Los Vinos and a tour of Teno Natural Park. This is one of our TUI Collection excursions, which give you a local flavour of the destination while showcasing its unique, authentic and responsible values.
After exploring the remote village of Santiago del Teide, it's on to Icod de Los Vinos. A guided tour of the town takes in its centuries-old dragon tree and the sampling of local products. Then head to Garachico, the ‘prettiest and unluckiest' town in the island, for a traditional lunch in a typical local house – an ideal setting for savouring Canarian cuisine.
The afternoon sees you exploring the craggy Teno Natural Park en route to the ‘lost village' of Masca. Precariously perched on a ridge overlooking a valley, it's one of Tenerife's most enchanting spots.
