What to expect

Enjoy a magical walk through the old-grown forest of Cougar Mountain. Follow the Vallea Lumina pathway and step into a world of enchantment. Learn about the old stories of the wonderous things happening near Whistler.

Somewhere hidden between the trees in the shadow of the mountains the legends talk of a valley where it rains stardust. All living things in this valley are filled with this pure light. Discover the full story and the way to find the valley as you follow the lingering track through the forest.

The total track is about 1km track and lightened with multimedia.

Meeting point:

The Adventure Group is easily reachable by car. You are able to park your car in the complimentary parking lot. Enter "Sixteen Mile Creek Forest Service Road, Whistler, BC" into any map app and follow the directions. After turning off the highway at the large wooden sign that says 'Welcome to Cougar Mountain' you will follow a short uphill road through the forest and arrive at the basecamp.

What to remember

The paths of the track are not recommended for people with reduced mobility
Strollers are not permitted (including off-road models)
Flash photography is not allowed onsight
The Vallea Lumina pathway is 1 km of trail and takes between 30 - 45 minutes to complete, please take 1-hour for the whole experience
The track includes some uphill and downhill sections and the whole experience is in the coastal rainforest
Please remember to arrive in time, you will be allowed on the site if you are late and can join the next showtime if available
You will receive a confirmation email that contains your tickets, please check if you have received the confirmation email
Please either bring these tickets with you on your phone or a printed copy
Keep in mind that the tour runs in all weather conditions and note that umbrellas are not allowed
Comfortable closed-toe boots or shoes are highly recommended
