62 years after the last major exhibition that amazed Milan, the works of Vincent Van Gogh, one of the most famous artists in the world, are back in Milan with a new exhibition entitled "The Man and the Earth". This exhibition focuses on the work of the Dutch master and is mostly dedicated to rural landscapes and the rural world.
This unique guided visit is designed to help you understand the focus of the exhibition, which presents an entirely new reading of the work of Van Gogh: in an era during which artists focused exclusively on urban agglomerations, Van Gogh drew attention to the countryside and the people who worked in the fields.
The corpus of the exhibition consists of works from the Kröller Müller Museum in Otterlo in addition to works from other museums - including the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam - and from private collections that are normally inaccessible. Our guide will lead you through an artistic journey that unfolds in more than 50 works: a unique opportunity to explore, through the eyes of the artist, the complex relationship between the human being and the nature that surrounds him.
In the event that bookings do not reach the minimum number of participants, the tour will not run and you will be notified at least 2 days in advance.
