Flores Island

Flores Island is an island of the Western group of the Portuguese Azores and the westernmost point of Europe. Due to its natural landscape, it has been added to the global network of UNESCO Biosphere Reserves in 2009.

Characterized by a green landscape and an indented coastline, the island is an ideal place for nature lovers where hiking is a must. Flores island provides a wide range of viewpoints to observe the different cliffs and lagoons of the area, as well as waterfalls and natural pools to practice some canyoning. Other activities that can be practiced are boat tours to explore the caves and islets of the area as well as dolphin-watching tours.
