Get face-to-face with the rare Northern River Terrapin and experience a taste of the Malaysian tropical rainforest on this 5-hour tour!
Make the journey to the Kuala Terengganu Terrapin Conservation Centre located at Bukit Paloh, situated at the bank of the Terengganu River. Here, we will observe and learn about the conservation efforts for the Batagur Baska—a Northern River Terrapin that is one of the three rarest turtle species in the world. Since the commencement of the program, as many as 10,000 young river terrapins have been released into the Terengganu River.
Walk along scenic tropical fruit farms with a variety of fruit trees such as durian, ciku, jambu, rambutan, duku and more, as well as a fragrant orchid garden on your way to Sekayu Waterfall. Do note, however, that these are seasonal and you may not see much fruits during off-season. Once you've reached the waterfall, take the opportunity to take a relaxing dip in the cool water and enjoy the surrounding ambience.
