El Palmetum de Santa Cruz de Tenerife es un lugar que hay que ver para creer. Este jardín botánico de 12 hectáreas, que en su día fue un vertedero, florece con una de las mayores colecciones de palmeras tropicales de Europa y plantas de todo el mundo.

Los amantes de las plantas estarán en su salsa mientras pasean por el Palmetum. Sólo en los jardines se han plantado más de 400 especies de palmeras, todas ellas distribuidas por zonas geográficas. Muchas de ellas proceden de islas como el Caribe, Madagascar y la Polinesia.

Pasee por este extenso paraíso tropical, donde encontrará cascadas, arroyos y rocallas volcánicas entre la interminable lista de plantas. También podrá disfrutar de vistas al mar y a la ciudad mientras sube la colina, un recordatorio de que se encuentra justo en medio de una bulliciosa ciudad.
