Get hands-on with Dominican culture on this immersive experience. Your 4x4 takes you through rural villages where you'll craft cigars, extract coconut oil and explore rice plantations before sitting down for a Dominican lunch featuring sancocho, a hearty stew simmered over a wood fire with chunks of yuca, plantains, Dominican pumpkin, corn on the cob, and tender cuts of meat. The afternoon brings tastings of homemade coffee, cacao and Mama Juana, a spiced local spirit, at a nearby farm. Your day ends in a mountain village where you can take a dip in the local river and meet a few folk who'll welcome you into their daily life.
