Als je op La Gomera wandelt, vang je een glimp op van hoe de Canarische Eilanden er eeuwen voordat ze bewoond werden uitzagen. Je begint in El Cercado, een piepklein bergdorp dat beroemd is om zijn pottenbakkerswerk en typische stenen huizen. Daarna maak je een wandeling door de eeuwenoude laurierbossen van het eiland in het hart van het Garajonay National Park. En als je wil stop je onderweg voor een optionele picknick.
