De volgende stop van de excursie is de basiliek van Guadalupe. Gelegen in de uitlopers van de Tepeyac-heuvel, is deze omheining de op één na meest bezochte door katholieken over de hele wereld. De huidige basiliek is een moderne tempel en zou plaats bieden aan een groot aantal pelgrims die elk jaar de tempel bezoeken om een van de belangrijkste geloofssymbolen in het land te vereren. Je zult ook de andere gebouwen rond de tempel bewonderen, zoals de oude basiliek, de kapel van El Cerrito, de kapel van El Pocito, het voormalige klooster van de kapucijnen en anderen, die samen het religieuze complex van Tepeyac vormen.
