Aberdeen may be known as the city of granite but it's by no means dull. Pass by Slains Castle if you're a fan of Dracula and enjoy a pint in this spooky pub or embrace the outdoors and stop by Johnston Gardens and embrace the Japanese culture. Head down to Aberdeen's harbour and see if you can spot some dolphins and whales or hang out on the promenade and check out its little shops and cafés. Take a stroll across Brig O' Balgownie and read Lord Byron's poem in which it was immortalised or go over to Books and Beans and immerse yourself in second-hand books at this quirky store. Aberdeen may be small but it's mighty and has something for everyone.
