After spending about 30-45 in the village, you will be driven to Tarn Taran city where you will visit Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran Sahib. The city was founded by the fifth Sikh guru, Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji (1563-1606), who also laid the foundation of the Tarn Taran Temple in 1590. Your guide will share the historical anecdotes related to this city from the period of the partition of Punjab during India’s Independence as well as other interesting accounts of the city.

Tarn Taran Temple is one of the oldest gurudwara in the region, and houses a large Sarovar (pond) inside the complex, believed to be the largest among all the Sikh shrines. Your tour ends after the visit to temple; ready for a transfer back to the hotel in Amritsar.
