This day tour to Delphi will take you to explore some beautiful spots outside the city, with the insight that a local licensed guide can give you. This tour lasts about 10 hours and you can choose to have lunch included in your tour fee, or not. You can book your tour in advance and plan out your trip to Greece.
By going on this one-day tour you will have the chance to explore one of the best-known sites of classical Greece, Delphi. Departure is from the Tour Operator’s Terminal or from your hotel lobby. Along the way the tour bus will drive by Thebes and take a short photo stop in Levadia, arriving in Delphi at about noon. Delphi was once considered the center of the earth and the universe and it is where the ancient Temple of Apollo and other ancient ruins are found. It held a central role in the world of classical Greece. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage site and during the tour you’ll get the chance to spend a few hours in the ancient city. Returning to Athens in the late afternoon you’ll pass by Castalia Springs known for the Apollo Temple and Museum of Delphi.
