Widely regarded as one of the top ten wreck dives in the world, the Zenobia promises a treat of underwater discovery. If you're an advanced PADI-certified diver or equivalent, you'll head to the spot just off the coast of Larnaca where this 10,000-tonne ship rests on the seabed and take part in two exploratory dives.
Your day will kick off with transfer from your hotel to the dive centre where you'll pack up all the equipment you need for a day at sea. You'll cast off in a two-storey catamaran to where the MS Zenobia lays underwater after sinking in 1980, and after about 20 minutes you'll arrive for the first dive. The first one normally takes you to the stern and includes diving in amongst the articulated lorries, tailgate, propellers and funnels.
Back on the boat, and some refreshments mark the mid-way point before the second dive. This time, you'll head nearer the bow to see the upper part, lifeboats, bridge and accommodation. Afterwards, you can reminisce on your findings over a barbecue lunch on the boat.
