Explore Poligano a Mare in an authentic and fun way, connecting closely with local people, traditions, and beloved places.
The first experience is the Street Food Tour. Stroll through the charming alleys of the old town, breathe in the Mediterranean atmosphere, admire the stunning terraces overlooking the sea, and capture the picturesque corners of the medieval town, including the painted phrases, Chiesa Matrice, and Piazza dell’Orologio. Most importantly, get ready to taste the typical local specialties that have made Polignano a Mare and Puglia famous worldwide, such as panzerotto and focaccia. The street food tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
After the food experience, the Ape Calessino (Tuk Tuk) will take you to hidden gems you might not otherwise reach, including Cala Sala, also known as Port’Alga. The tour continues with a boat tour of the Caves departing from San Vito, a hamlet of Polignano a Mare. Admire the dramatic cliffs overlooking the Adriatic Sea and experience the town from a unique perspective. The boat tour starts at 2:00pm, lasts 1.5 hours, and includes an apéritif and a swimming stop.
At the end of the tour, you’ll be returned to the centre of Polignano a Mare.
