Meet the coach at your chosen start point. Experience Spain’s third largest city which is located just a 2-hour coach ride from Benidorm. Valencia’s historic center is one of the largest in Spain and its monuments, attractions, shops, bars and restaurants make it one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations.
You'll travel by motorway to Valencia, with a journey time of approximately two hours, accompanied by an English & Spanish-speaking representative. Once in Valencia, you'll make a stop at the Torres de Serranos which is right in the heart of the City, walking distance from the cathedral, the central market and shops that Valencia is famous for. For those wishing to explore the city at their own leisure, you’ll have ample free time to do so.
The city was founded as a Roman colony in 138BC. It was later occupied by Moroccan and Arab Moors before being conquered by the Christian King James I of Aragon. Valencia has been Spain’s capital city twice and its long history means it’s steeped in art and culture, which is reflected in its popular traditions, such as the Fallas fiestas which were declared Fiestas of National Tourist Interest in 1965.
Whatever way you want to spend your day, you’ll not be disappointed. Arrive back in Benidorm around 8.00pm
