Expect to visit farms, taste local foods and drinks, have lunch in a historic restaurant and try local wines at a winery.Set off in the morning, and we'll drive to the inland village of Kosharitsa to visit a bee farm. You'll taste the pure natural honey as well as mead and sweet honey brandy produced here. Next up is the highland hamlet of Kozichino, where you'll see a wool-carding machine at work and Bulgarian yoghurt made.Drop by a distillery to taste some brandy, and you'll witness a performance of folkloric songs and dances before breaking for a late lunch. There'll also be a ‘best banitsa' pastry contest, so you'll get to practice your baking skills. To round off, you'll visit the DiVes Winery for a tour and tasting session of top local wines.
