Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby, sign in hand, before whisking you away in a private air-conditioned vehicle towards Emei Mountain. As you traverse through the countryside, your guide will enlighten you about the mountain's rich culture and diverse ecology. A UNESCO site and significant Buddhist landmark, Emei Mountain is home to over 5,000 plant species and more than 2,300 animals. It's an ideal spot for hiking, photography, and trips throughout the year. For winter visits, anti-slip crampons and military coats are available for hire.
Upon arrival, a scenic bus ride takes you to Leidongping, followed by a cable car journey to Golden Summit. Here, your guide will regale you with tales of its natural beauty and spiritual significance. Marvel at the towering 48-meter Golden Buddha Statue as your guide imparts knowledge about Chinese Buddhist history and spirituality. After lunch at Golden Summit, descend via cable car and, if time permits, visit Baoguo Temple - Emei’s largest temple and a hub of Buddhist culture.
