Caminito del Rey
A scenic drive inland from the Costa del Sol, the Caminito del Rey is one of Spain's most heart-stopping trails. From Malaga's Lake District, you'll set out on foot for the Gaitanes Gorge, the canyon carved out of the bedrock by the sweeping River Guadalhorce. Stroll along a recently renovated boardwalk set on the sheer face of the gorge, which in some places is nearly 700m deep and only 10m wide. Your guide will explain all about the rock formations as well as the impressive feats of engineering.
