If you fancy trying out scuba diving but aren't quite ready to take the plunge with a full certification course, then Discover Scuba Diving should tick all the boxes. You'll learn how to breathe underwater, get the basics on the theory and even try your first ever dive at the house coral reef – all with the support of qualified PADI instructors.First thing's first, you'll get the lowdown on basic safety guidelines and see how to properly set up your diving equipment. All this will take place at the dive centre in Jan Thiel under the watchful eye of expert PADI instructors who will take you through step by step.Now comes the fun part when you'll do some exercises to get used to breathing underwater before completing your first ever dive at the house reef. What's more, if you decide you'd like to continue with the PADI Open Water course, this first dive will count as the first lesson.

Curacao Island & Beach Tour
This full day highlights tour has all the bases covered when it comes to discovering Curaçao. You'll see the UNESCO site of Punda, Shete Boka National Park, Landhuis Knip country house and swim at Porto Marie. The way back will hopefully feature flamingos in the wild, too. This is one of our TUI Collection excursions, which give you a local flavour of the destination while showcasing its unique, authentic and responsible values.The area around Jan Thiel will be your first port of call, where white sandy beaches and pretty houses frame the backdrop. You'll visit the Blue Curaçao liqueur factory for a 20-minute tour and a tasting before driving through Punda. This heritage site features plenty of colourful buildings and bridges to snap.Afterwards, it's up to the rugged north and Shete Boka National Park, known for its inlets and turtle nesting sites, then travel to Landhuis Knip country house – once a prosperous plantation - where you'll travel back in time. The last stop will be Porto Marie where you can take a dip and reflect on the day's adventure. During the journey back, you'll have the chance to spot flamingos in the wild.

Cast off from Caracas Bay and you'll cruise into the distance with the island on one side and the open ocean on the other. You'll soon arrive at our first snorkelling stop for the day – a famous sunken tugboat that's now home to colourful corals and shoals of fish. Our next port of call is the paradise beach at Playa Manzalina. Spread out your towel and relax on the sand, then head into a hidden cave, aptly named the Blue Room, for a fascinating snorkelling tour. On your return, the crew set up a sizzling barbecue lunch as the premium bar is declared open.

You'll be guided around Curaçao's Spaanse Water, where mangroves live and breathe beneath the surface and luxury villas dot the skyline. Enjoy stand-up paddleboarding through hard-to-reach corners while taking in the peace and quiet of nature.Stand-up paddleboarding, or SUP, is the new best thing when it comes to water sports. But instead of paddling along a beach, you'll join a guide to explore the Spaanse Water. It all kicks off from the foot of Tafelberg mountain, then paddle into places boats can't reach while learning about the mangroves and getting the hang of navigating on a SUP board.Listen and look out for all the different birds and peer out at the luxury villas along the coast. See all the highlights, and finish in time to go grab some lunch.From its brightly-coloured buildings to its bridges, Punda's got a lot to see. And your guide will navigate the streets to show the best bits.
