Prepare to experience the natural beauty of Litchfield National Park, with pickup from Darwin and a scenic journey south along the Stuart Highway.
As you enter the park, your first stop will be the impressive Magnetic Termite Mounds. Your guide will share fascinating insights into these remarkable structures and the unique termites that build them.
Continue to Florence Falls, one of Litchfield's most picturesque waterfalls. Enjoy the stunning scenery, take a refreshing swim in the plunge pool if conditions permit, or relax and admire the cascading waters surrounded by lush tropical bushland.
Next, visit Buley Rockhole, a series of beautiful natural rock pools and cascading waterfalls. Take the opportunity for a cooling dip or enjoy a guided walk through the surrounding native bushland.
After exploring Buley Rockhole, continue to Wangi Falls, where you can enjoy the peaceful monsoon forest and, conditions permitting, swim in the large plunge pool beneath the falls. Alternatively, take the 800-metre loop walk through the surrounding rainforest.
After a day of exploring Litchfield's spectacular waterfalls, swimming holes and unique natural landscapes, you will make your way back to Darwin.
