Follow a scenic route that climbs above the treeline and crosses the alpine tundra for around 11 miles, reaching elevations of over 12,000 feet. Along the drive, you'll pass several viewpoints such as the Rainbow Curve Outlook and the Mushroom Rocks overlooks, as well as short, accessible walking trails near Sprague Lake and Bear Lake.
You can also choose to drive the historic Old Fall River Road, once used by the park's earliest visitors.
