You will take a boat ride on Lake Scorpion Island, a small remote island that can only be accessed by boat or canoe. While enjoying the beautiful scenery, your guide will point out the many types of birds, including pelicans, which live at the lake. You will get a unique view of the lake from the center of the island, offering a couple of outdoor restaurants serving local specialties like charales - tiny, crispy dried fish which are eaten with salt, lemon, and pepper.
Just 10 minutes from Chapala on the north shore of the lake, you'll see Ajijic, a city famous for its numerous riders and moderate summer temperatures. Enjoy the picturesque cobbled streets of charming restaurants, bars, and art galleries abundant with local textiles.
