Your guide and driver will collect you from the Hanoi Old Quarter. If you're staying outside this area, please make your way to the meeting point at the Hanoi Opera House.
The first stop on your journey is Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. Here, you'll delve into Vietnam's history during the Dinh and Early Le Dynasties. You'll visit historic temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh, gaining a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s rich culture and past. Next, you'll have the opportunity to soak up the serene countryside of Ninh Binh with a leisurely bicycle ride. Pedal along tranquil village roads, pass by verdant rice fields, imposing limestone mountains, and local villages, all while experiencing the authentic rural scenery.
Following your cycle, you'll savour a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a restaurant in the Ninh Binh area. After lunch, you'll embark on a traditional sampan boat ride along the Ngo Dong River. This peaceful cruise takes you through a landscape adorned with towering limestone mountains, rice fields, and natural caves.
Later in the day, you'll visit Mua Cave and Ngoa Long Mountain. Prepare yourself for a bit of a climb - over 500 steps to be precise - to reach the top of Ngoa Long (Dragon) Mountain. Once there, you'll be rewarded with a panoramic view over Tam Coc and the surrounding limestone karsts. Finally, you'll depart Ninh Binh and return to Hanoi.
